Arak
Massaya Arak 750ml
Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, Organic. Arak is the national drink of Lebanon, and this organic version is the best. Massaya is the story of a family that took the ashes of civil war and rose like a phoenix. In 1990, the family was able to reclaim their countryside house in the Bekaaa Valley. Massaya means twilight in Lebanese. It was adopted because it communicates the hue seen at the moment the sun sets behind Mount Lebanon and the sky of the Bekaa turns dark blue. One of the finest Lebanese Araks, Massaya Arak is made exclusively with hand-picked indigenous white Obeïdi grapes and green organic aniseed. Triple distilled and aged for 2 years, Arak has a beguiling aniseed flavor and freshness that cleanses the palate and aids digestion. A Lebanese summertime apertif, this serves as a perfect accompaniment to a classic selection of mezze dishes that include parsley, raw tomatoes, lemon, mint and garlic -- flavors that are sometimes hard to match with wine. 750 ml
Muaddi Artisanal Arak 700 ML
Bethlehem, Palestine. Using only natural, locally sourced ingredients, their grapes come from the vineyards located in western Bethlehem and northern Hebron, aniseed sourced from Raba, Jenin and their water is from the Ein Ad-Duyuk Spring just north of Jericho. Even the clay amphorae used for maturation are handmade in Hebron. Truly a Palestinian pleasure, their Artisanal Arak is made from Dabouki grapes that are triple distilled and infused with aniseed before being proofed with limestone filtered spring water. This results in a clean and clear color with aromas of licorice, sandalwood incense, dates and soy on the nose. The palate carries the scents over and adds touches of shortbread, taffy and candied aniseed to a medium body with a silky and long and lingering finish. True to the nature of arak, it is meant to be paired with mezze because each sip cleanses the tastebuds and refreshes the palate, so you can enjoy a myriad of dishes with rivalling flavor profiles. 700ml

Cameron and Marlen Porter started Amplify Wines with the goal of making wines that enhance the most singular characteristics of a given vineyard, marrying a sense of place with a sense of style. Although not fans of dogma, there are certain winemaking and farming principles that are central to their beliefs: native yeast fermentations, neutral vessels for fermentation and aging, no additions of any kind beyond sulfur, embracing happy accidents and letting intuition be their guide, and farming that seeks to establish a healthy ecosystem, embracing the natural characteristics of a given place. And by following that intuition, they have created some gorgeous and authentic wines. Wines that truly amplify the voice of site. Enoz Il Chaos
Campania, Italy. Organic, Sustainable. Primitivo is a variety of which we don’t get to see enough - more commonly known as likely the greatest red variety of Puglia, here we see a version from interior Campania in the appellation of Roccamonfina, a verdant appellation on top of an extinct volcano. It’s a region rich in basaltic soils as a result, and this bottling of Primitivo from the label Enoz is called ‘il Chaos,’ for reasons we’ve not yet really discerned. This wine isn’t chaotic at all, but rather, carries the spices in black fruit along with red-fruit perfume that we so like in this variety; its tannins are gently put together as a result of fermentation and aging in a mix of terracotta amphorae and porcelain. It’s a beguiling wine, one that merits contemplation - and a little sign that Campania is home to some terrific potential in its reds outside of just the famous Aglianico.

Zaërs region, their vines are grown on ancient sand, red clay along with limestone and shale soils creating wines of structure and intense minerality. They also partner with organizations that plant trees around the world, and these trees capture more carbon dioxide that they produce in the entirety of the organization. Take all three together, and you have a climate positive company dedicated to protecting the environment! This philosophy shines through in their wines like this Cabernet Sauvignon which showcases the quality of Pasos Robles fruits. Aromas of black currant, green pepper and black cherry greet the nose. The palate has a medium to high acidity with good tannins that bring out the toasty flavors of cocoa and velvety dark fruits. Rouvalis Tsigello
Peloponnese, Greece. Organic. This Greek red wine uses the unique Tsigello grape, expressing the distinct and unique terroir of the Corinthian Gulf in the mountainous region of Aigialeia. Rouvalis is a gravity-flow winery making memorable wines since 1990. Irresistibly dry with an earthy, full-bodied elegance, this minimal intervention wine has a lasting aftertaste. The wine is matured in handmade clay amphorae, allowing its bold tannins to temper and mellow. On the nose, an intense bouquet of fresh fruits like cherry and blackberry rise, along with herbs such as bay leaf, eucalyptus, and mint which sweeten to vanilla and bitter chocolate during malolactic fermentation. It goes superbly with grilled meat, winged game, salmon, cooked tuna, tomato dishes, charcuterie, cheeses and traditional Greek aubergine dishes. 750 ml
Tarpon Cellars 'Rebirth' Zinfandel
Napa Valley, California, USA. A Georgia native, Jeremy Carter attended Florida State University before moving to the Napa Valley in 2007 for an internship at his uncle’s winery in Rutherford. He would soon hone his winemaking acumen through positions at Luna, Chappellet, and Duckhorn while also crafting 90-point wines under his previous label, J.R. Carter Wine Cellars. Having made wine in Napa, Sonoma, and New Zealand, the opportunity to work with fruit from Shifflett Ranch and create a brand of distinction was an opportunity he had always dreamed of.  100% Zinfandel. Fermented grapes with native yeasts and aged for 13 months in neutral French oak. Minimal punch downs allowed the fruit to speak for itself and keep the tannins very much in balance. With a nose of fig jam and blueberry, the palate gives way to raspberry and black pepper with a finish of forest floor and red licorice.
Chateau Musar Lebanon Hochar Pere Et Fils
Bekaa Valley, Lebanon. Vegan, Organic. Three years in the making, Hochar Père et Fils is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from a single vineyard in the Western Bekaa Valley, near the village of Aana. It is characterised by deep, gravelly soil over a limestone base and 1,000m above sea level. At an average age of 30 years old, yields are low, 20-30 hectolitres per hectare, which results in concentrated full flavored wine. Deep burgundy in color with transparent layers showing evidence of Grenache in the blend. Ripe red cherry fruit with plums, dates, mulberries and tea leaves. It is Mediterranean on the palate with sweet tannins and spices. It becomes even better and more refined a day after the bottle is opened. The red wines of 2020 are wines of taste and concentration and the Hochar Red of this year is no exception.
