Bekaa Valley, Lebanon. Vegan. Organic. Located in the West Bekaa Valley of Lebanon, the large estate of Château Kefraya has been the Bustros family’s property for generations. Founded by Michel de Bustros, the first vines were planted in 1951, and in 1979 - despite the Lebanese Civil War - they started producing their own wine with their own grapes in their own cellar. Using sustainable farming, they produced this Chateau Kefraya Bretèches red blend using hand-harvested Cinsaut, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, grapes. On the nose, finely spiced with notes of black currants and cherry. On the palate, dry with soft tannins and red fruit flavors with some smoky leather and mild spice. This wine pairs well with cured meats and hard cheese, roasted lamb, beef and game meats. 750 ml
