In Georgian mythology Ocho is considered the protector of forest and wild animals. On our labels you see precious animals of Georgian's fauna that are at risk of extinction. While drinking our wine made in an archaic way and looking at these mysterious animals you wonder who you are and why you are here. The wine is made in a Kvevri according to the ancient Georgian traditional method, with wild yeasts and free from any additives. It is made from Saperavi Budeshuri, an endemic variety of grape grown in the vineyards of Ozhio village, Akhmeta, kakheti. Wine spends 9 days ageing on skin.
