A deep purple hue heralds a wine dominated by a spectrum of plums, blackcurrants, strawberries, cherries, vanilla and bell peppers. The oak is well integrated, creating a wine that is complex and layered, round and soft. The grapes are hand-picked and destemmed before fermentation. The Cabernet Sauvignon is aged in oak for six months before blending. Best served at room temperature with all red meat, stews and pies. Réserve Du Couvent can be drunk immediately or cellared for three to five years.
