Bekaa Valley, Lebanon. From hand picked Merweh and Obeidi, two indigenous grape varietals that likely trace their lineage back to the Phoenicians. By blending them, Domaine des Tourelles has created a generous and mineral white wine that offers a sensorial voyage to Lebanon. Theses grapes' centuries-old vineyards range from the fertile Bekaa plateau to the Bsharreh mountains above the Qadisha (Holy Valley) at the feet of the millennial cedars. The well-structured blend of these two grapes gives the wine its brilliant golden color. The nose has natural aromas of ripened grapes, apple skin and a mix of spices and herbs. Mineral and savoury on the palate, the wine shows notes of dried figs and fresh almonds on the finish. Best served between 8°C -10°C.
