Meant for current consumption – within a few years of the harvest – this deeply-colored, vividly fruity style, first produced in 2007, may yet prove to be a ‘keeper’. Deep purple beetroot colour with a nose and palate of more red fruits than black; strawberries and cherries. Unoaked, with a savoury, earthy depth and a touch of spice and black pepper. It is an elegant wine with layers of taste and lots of potential to age and develop. Dry & Light to Medium Body and very fruity. No need to decant; enjoy straight from the bottle at between 60-62°F with grilled meat, charcuterie and mature cheeses. This wine is suited for vegans as it is not fined nor filtered.

Bottled unfined and unfiltered, Hochar Père et Fils Reds are suitable for vegans; they’re also richly-textured and likely to produce deposits in bottle. This is a feature of most fine wines. Ideally, the wine could be decanted (discarding any sediment) up to one hour before serving at between 16-18°C. This wine is an ideal choice for casseroles, roasted meats, tuna steaks and Mediterranean dishes. Deep burgundy in color with transparent layers showing evidence of Grenache in the blend. Massaya is the story of a family that took the ashes of civil war and rose like a phoenix. In 1990, the family was able to reclaim their countryside house in the Bekaaa Valley. The name Massaya, twilight in Lebanese, was adopted because it communicates the hue seen at the moment the sun sets behind Mount Lebanon and the sky of the Bekaa turns dark blue. This Massaya Blanc white wine is made with 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Obeïdi grapes. Bright on the nose with soft white floral hints. The name “Malvasia” originates from the Byzantine name of the city of Monemvasia, while “Candia” refers to the old name of Heraklion, Crete, during the Venetian period. Malvasia di Candia Aromatica is part of Crete’s historical tradition, known since the Venetian era when sweet Malvasia wines were exported throughout Europe. Kavala, Greece. Organic, Vegan. Single vineyard and estate bottled, the winery is located in an old olive grove. This dry white is fruit forward, aromatic, floral and round. A clean nose of lemon blossoms, with piquant spices and herbs, citrus and some white-fleshed fruit, the essence of brioche bread and fresh cut grass. High acidity in the mouth and a medium volume in the body, dominated by citrus and floral white-fleshed fruit and spicy minerality.
