Bekaa Valley, Lebanon. L'Arack De Musar 750ml The Chateau Musar Arack is made from grape alcohol with an average age of five years. Traditionally, arak is distilled twice, the anise seeds are added in the third distillation. L'arack de Musar is unique in that it is distilled four times with the addition of anis seeds during the 4th distillation. After distillation, it is aged for one year in terracotta amphora's which contribute to its licorice aroma. It is customary to add water to Arack when serving it as a digestif, but L'arack de Musar can be enjoyed without water. It is surprisingly smooth, sweet and very easy to drink. The additional distillation results in a very pure and sophisticated Arack.

Deep purple beetroot colour with a nose and palate of more red fruits than black; strawberries and cherries. Unoaked, with a savoury, earthy depth and a touch of spice and black pepper. It is an elegant wine with layers of taste and lots of potential to age and develop. Dry & Light to Medium Body and very fruity. No need to decant; enjoy straight from the bottle at between 60-62°F with grilled meat, charcuterie and mature cheeses. This wine is suited for vegans as it is not fined nor filtered.

Bottled unfined and unfiltered, Hochar Père et Fils Reds are suitable for vegans; they’re also richly-textured and likely to produce deposits in bottle. This is a feature of most fine wines. Ideally, the wine could be decanted (discarding any sediment) up to one hour before serving at between 16-18°C. This wine is an ideal choice for casseroles, roasted meats, tuna steaks and Mediterranean dishes. Deep burgundy in color with transparent layers showing evidence of Grenache in the blend. From the vineyard called “Vigna Campo Piano,” the vines are approximately 30 years old and planted to 2.6 hectares of clay soils. The grapes are selected one month before harvest, which takes place on August 25th, and allowed to macerate for eight hours in stainless steel. Hand-harvesting is done in two passes, the first is used to build the ambient yeast for the remainder that is to be harvested. The entire fermentation lasts a total of 20 days in stainless steel with temperature control. Aged for six months on the lees with stirring once a week.

Oenogenesis is owned and operated by one of the greatest oenologists of Greece, Bakis Tsalkos (trained and experienced in Montpellier and Bordeaux for most of his life). He belongs to the generation of oenologists who revived the Greek wine industry, and he single-handedly created the winemaking industry of Drama (Macedonia) in the 80’s, the youngest one of Greece. Muses estate was named after the Muses from Greek Mythology, who were said to have lived on Mount Helicon. No filtration or fining. Halkia “Reddish” is a natural vinification of the most planted red Greek grape, Agiorgitiko, from its birthplace in Nemea, by female organic grower Halkia. Even though this is a direct press, Agiorgitiko shows its richness in anthocyanins and fresh forest fruit.

Full bodied with notes of balsamic, plum, and jallab (a type of fruit syrup made from carob, dates, grape molasses, and rose water). A blend of two seperate tanks of Sabbaghieh. The first tank being a late harvest Sabbaghieh (40%) blended with a slightly less ripe Sabbaghieh (60%), which was macerated on its skins for just over a week and a half. Puglia, Italy. Organic. 100% Minutolo (native grape to Puglia) Certified organic white, fresh, aromatic, and summery. Fruity with a touch of sweetness. Color is almost clear. Drinks similar to a Riesling.

Rioja, Spain. Organic, Biodynamic. 100% Garnacha Blanca Certified Organic orange wine. Beautiful golden orange color. The nose is filled with the ripest apricot steeped in tangerine juice. Sea spray, sultanas, yellow gummy bear explode from the glass – nothing is quiet about these aromatics! The palate is very dry and yet it’s like eating roasted pineapple-apricot tart. So much complexity and yet so much fun! 12.5% ABV.

Rioja, Spain. Organic, Biodynamic. 100% Tempranillo Dark ruby color. Brooding raspberry almost framboise-like, just a Cherry Bomb with layers of dried sour cherries and black cherry cola. The palate shows subtle dried fig with hints of violet and tobacco. The tannins are classic Tempranillo, rustic but balanced. 12.5% ABV.

Bethlehem, Palestine. Natural, Organic. 50% Dabouki, 50% Hamdani-Jandali The Cremisan Cellar inherits its namesake from the hill from which the grapes have been harvested since 1885. Modern wine-making equipment was introduced in 1997. The production and sale of Cremisan wines support the work of the Salesian Monks in the Holy Land. All Cremisan wines are organically produced, with vines being tended without the use of pesticides and chemicals. Vines are pruned, sorted and picked by hand. AL-Jather is a NATURAL white made from Palestinian grapes. Fresh and fruity with aromas of tropical fruit. This wine has generous grapefruit, peach and lime juice flavors with a refreshing acidity that makes it perfect for sipping on warm days. No added sulfur. Grown in the Judean hills of Palestine, this red wine is 100% indigenous Baladi grapes. “Some scholars say these are the types of wines that Jesus most likely drank.” (VinePair) Ruby red color, with aromas of berries, plum, hints of forest floor, milk chocolate, black pepper, light oak and spices. Medium body, smooth and complex, it finishes long, dry and elegant. A 2022 vintage, this rare wine can only be found at a handful of stores in the United States.
