Peloponnese, Greece. The Gaia Monograph Agiorgitiko is a Greek red made with 100% Agiorgitiko grapes. With careful winemaking a complex and pleasant red wine, characterized by a red-purple color, with aromas of medium intensity, unique clarity and finesse is created. Relatively complex for its youth, aromas oscillate between red grapes, pomegranate and butterscotch. A particularly smooth taste, with soft tannins and a fruity aftertaste. Very easy to drink and not too dry. Pair it with cuisine of medium or even high intensity or on its own as an aperitif.

Rouvalis is a gravity-flow winery making memorable wines since 1990. One hundred days is the time that we leave the skins in contact with the must so as to produce the first of its kind “red” wine of the gris variety Moschofilero. Intensively floral, rose petals and ginger come forward followed by a quince jam flavor. Slightly tannic taste with balanced acidity.

Mantinia, Greece. Organic, Natural. The history of the Troupis Winery begins in 2010, when the family decided to invest in their own winery. Their vineyards are situated in the heart of Mantinea in the Fteri region of Greece. The special microclimate of the area differentiates the varietal's characteristics when compared to the remaining Peloponnese, making their wines unique. Santorini, Greece. Staff fav! On our recent trip to Santorini, we discovered this amazing rose. The winery describes this wine as "dangerous" since it is so easy to drink. It is also known as a "breakfast wine!". This wine is very light, dry, watermelon & strawberry forward. Great with Italian food or to bring on the beach. Lower temps meant lower oxidation. Grapes are hand picked. Free run, barely pressed, only for structure. The traditional edition of Santorini with a modern twist. It was born in the 2019 yield when THALASSITIS OAK FERMENTED was renamed NYCHTERI by GAIA. Fermentation and aging take place in different kinds and sizes of barrels. The wood is present, with notes of vanilla, all totally harmonized with the aromas of Assyrtiko. 100% French oak. 14% ABV. As always, the classic nerve and the sharp acidity of Assyrtiko are not hidden, but in this case, they have allied with a roundness, a greasiness and a volume that make this wine amazingly enjoyable. This famous dessert wine of Santorini is a combination of complex and intense aromas, where the caramelized fruits such as raisins, apricots and figs predominate along with a sweet and very complex taste with impressive length. Notes of coffee, bergamot, molasses and dried fig are most distinct. Although this is a very sweet wine, it is also important to emphasize that it has balance and good acidity which provides it with nerve and intensity. Enjoy this rare wine at 6-8 degrees Celsius in a chilled shot glass with a beautiful dark chocolate dessert or continue to age it, for future enjoyment, for many years. To be a Vinsanto you must legally age it for at least 4 years and use more than 1 grape besides Assyrtiko.

Oenogenesis is owned and operated by one of the greatest oenologists of Greece, Bakis Tsalkos (trained and experienced in Montpellier and Bordeaux for most of his life). He belongs to the generation of oenologists who revived the Greek wine industry, and he single-handedly created the winemaking industry of Drama (Macedonia) in the 80’s, the youngest one of Greece. His principle is the absence of anything chemical, with as little intervention or spraying in the vineyard as possible.

No filtration or fining. Halkia “Reddish” is a natural vinification of the most planted red Greek grape, Agiorgitiko, from its birthplace in Nemea, by female organic grower Halkia.
