Crimson Amaro
New York, USA. Catskill Provisions Distillery is a New York based company born out of a beehive -- literally. Born in Madrid and raised in New York City, Claire M. Marin is the CEO, founder and chief beekeeper of this wonderful establishment. She started beekeeping as a hobby and grew into a business of small-batch hand-packed honey. The honey is the star ingredient infused into their handcrafted spirits. The herbaceous spirit Crimson Amaro is naturally red colored with cochineal and was inspired by traditional Italian Amari. Created in their distillery in Long Eddy, NY, a base of Pollinator Vodka is infused with a secret blend of more than 15 botanicals, among them juniper, wormwood, sage, angelica, gentian, and orris root. Highly aromatic, intriguingly complex, the result is a beautifully balanced bittersweet tonic that can be enjoyed over ice or mixed into cocktails, from a Spritz to a Negroni. 750 ml$40.00USAAMAROLIQUEUR
