Bekaa Valley, Lebanon. 60% Cabernet Franc, 40% Syrah This gorgeous rose comes from Lebanon's oldest winery, Chateau Ksara, named because it was the site of a kasr, or fortress. Located in the famously fertile Bekaa Valley, wines have been made there since 1857. A modern example is this Ksara Sunset Rose, made with a blend of Cabernet Franc and Syrah grapes. With an intense pink hue, fresh notes of red berries and spice light up the nose while an initial roundness of the mouth finishes with a fresh and vivid aftertaste. This rose was made for Mediterranean and Asian dishes, or served alongside charcuterie. Best served chilled. 750 ml
