This bold Tsigello (Mavrodaphne), Dry Red Wine, PGI Slopes of Aigialeia Produced in clay amphora, without any trace of oak. A round, structured red with leafy aromas, black-fruit forward aromas, similar in style to Loire Cabernet Franc and Galician reds. Tsigello is a synonym for Mavrodaphne, which can’t feature on the label as the rules state the variety can only be used to make sweet wines. However, Theodora Rouvali has made the most of the high altitude of their vineyards about Aigialeia in the Peleponnese, to produce a fantastic dry wine. 750ML.
