Bekaa Valley, Lebanon. 55% Sauvignon Blanc, 25% Chardonnay, 20% Semillon This white wine blend comes from Lebanon's oldest winery, Chateau Ksara, named because it was the site of a kasr, or fortress. Located in the Bekaa Valley, wines have been made there since 1857. A modern example is this noble and versatile Ksara Blanc de Blancs, made from a blend of Sauvignon, Semillon, and Chardonnay grapes. With finesse and elegance from the Chardonnay, the nose is subtle with aromas of hazelnuts and exotic fruits from the Sauvignon. The Semillon finishes the journey with a long and rich mouth-feel.
