Bekaa Valley, Lebanon. Vegan, Organic. Located in the West Bekaa Valley of Lebanon, the large estate of Château Kefraya has been the Bustros family’s property for generations. Founded by Michel de Bustros, the first vines were planted in 1951, and in 1979 - despite the Lebanese Civil War - they started producing their own wine with their own grapes in their own cellar. Using sustainable farming, they produced this Chateau Kefraya White wine using hand-harvested Chardonnay, Viognier and Muscat Blanc grapes. On the nose, tropical fruits greet you along with peach and apricots, along with floral notes of acacia and lily. On the palate, dry yet lively and full-bodied with good acidity and nuanced flavors of honey, apricots and melon. This wine pairs well with pork, shellfish, poultry and lean fish. 750 ml
