The roots of Caruso & Minini harken back to the late 1800’s when Antonio Caruso bought the company to grow grapes for the nearby Marsala factories. In 2004, Stefano Caruso met Mario Minini and together they built a family winery. Today, Stefano and his daughters Giovanna and Rosanna work side by side to create unique wines using indigenous Sicilian grapes. From our best selection of Frappato grapes grown on the hillside, comes Frappo, with its delicate pink color, fresh and fruity taste. Lively, harmonious, and with a pleasant acidity, it reveals a vibrant note of strawberry and cherry on the palate. Light, easy and summery rose. Served chilled, it is the perfect wine for light lunches with rich salads or even more elaborate grilled dishes, from vegetables to meat. 12.5% ABV
