In 1908 the estate's configuration was mapped, and in 1933 their first vintage was produced. The name Massaya, twilight in Lebanese, was adopted because it communicates the hue seen at the moment the sun sets behind Mount Lebanon and the sky of the Bekaa turns dark blue. The featured bird species are endemic to the island, specifically in higher altitudes. Lower temps meant lower oxidation. Grapes are hand picked. Free run, barely pressed, only for structure. The traditional edition of Santorini with a modern twist. It was born in the 2019 yield when THALASSITIS OAK FERMENTED was renamed NYCHTERI by GAIA. Fermentation and aging take place in different kinds and sizes of barrels. The wood is present, with notes of vanilla, all totally harmonized with the aromas of Assyrtiko. 100% French oak. 14% ABV. As always, the classic nerve and the sharp acidity of Assyrtiko are not hidden, but in this case, they have allied with a roundness, a greasiness and a volume that make this wine amazingly enjoyable. Lombardia, Italy. Organic. Natural. Unfined & Unfiltered. Sustainable. 2023. A beautiful 100% Pinot Grigio, finely balanced and elegant. From the vineyard called “Vigna Campo Piano,” the vines are approximately 30 years old and planted to 2.6 hectares of clay soils. The grapes are selected one month before harvest, which takes place on August 25th, and allowed to macerate for eight hours in stainless steel. Hand-harvesting is done in two passes, the first is used to build the ambient yeast for the remainder that is to be harvested. The entire fermentation lasts a total of 20 days in stainless steel with temperature control. Aged for six months on the lees with stirring once a week.

The name “Malvasia” originates from the Byzantine name of the city of Monemvasia, while “Candia” refers to the old name of Heraklion, Crete, during the Venetian period. Malvasia di Candia Aromatica is part of Crete’s historical tradition, known since the Venetian era when sweet Malvasia wines were exported throughout Europe. It has structure like a red but is not funky like a lot of orange wines. Very citrus forward with a prominent acidity backbone. Oenogenesis is owned and operated by one of the greatest oenologists of Greece, Bakis Tsalkos (trained and experienced in Montpellier and Bordeaux for most of his life). He belongs to the generation of oenologists who revived the Greek wine industry, and he single-handedly created the winemaking industry of Drama (Macedonia) in the 80’s, the youngest one of Greece. His principle is the absence of anything chemical, with as little intervention or spraying in the vineyard as possible.

Winemaking has been a big part of Persian culture for over 8000 years, and we take great pride in offering you a taste of this remarkable winemaking region. Founded in 2021, our winemaker imports all grapes directly from Iran and produces the unique products here in his new home, Sweden.

Primorska, Slovenia. Sustainable, Vegan. 100% Pinot Grigio Fresh citrus, melon and pear. Friendly on the palate with a clean, pleasant finish. Pair with white meat, fresh cheeses, prosciutto and risottos.

Piedmont, Italy. Vegan, Woman-Owned. 100% Moscato Bianco Centorri Moscato di Pavia is a sweet white, slightly fizzy wine made in the style of the famous Moscato d'Asti wines of Piedmont where the winery is in fact located. This style of low-alcohol, sweet, frizzante wine is always a crowd pleaser before a meal, with spicy food, or especially with dessert.

Santorini, Greece. Vegan Medium body, super fresh and clean with a slight effervescence. Notes of lemon, quince, green apple, pink grapefruit and a nice minerality reminiscent of the seaside.

Armavir, Armenia. Organic. 100% Garan Dmak Highly aromatic white with notes of pear, melon, grapefruit pith, this fuller bodied dry white has an attractively smooth, round texture, with lots of savory, food-friendly character. Lots of orange rind, thyme and lingering notes of pear and melon. This fuller bodied, savory wine is perfect with fish dishes, dishes with savory herbs (sage, thyme, etc) and compliments grilled vegetables perfectly. Founded in the village of Bambakashat, Armavir, on the foothills of Mt Ararat, the three Jraghatspanyan brothers run this boutique winery working only with ancient, indigenous varieties. All grapes are hand harvested from 60- to 80-year-old vines. The winery is meticulous in its pursuit to make wines that are pure expressions of their volcanic soils and unique, rare vines. Less than two hundred cases are made each year.

Limnos, Greece. Organic. 100% Muscat of Alexandria Semi-Sweet full bodied white from Limnos (Protected Designation of Origin Limnos). The sun and the saltiness of the Northern Aegan Sea, have created a rare organic, white, semi-sweet, vibrant, aromatic wine from the gifted variety of Muscat of Alexandria, which is cultivated in the volcanic soil of Limnos. Fully balanced with a great aftertaste. Pair with fresh fruit, creamy cheese like brie or dark chocolate. A unique organic winery located on the volcanic island of Limnos, where wine has been made since the ancient times, embracing indigenous grape varieties, producing world class wines with loads of character and complexity.

Primorska, Slovenia. Sustainable, Vegan. 100% Riesling Off-Dry. Aroma: Beautifully bouquet of pear, citrus, and tropical fruits. Flavor: The light character and clean bright taste with a hint of sweetness make this a very enjoyable wine. Food pairing: Soup, seafood, poultry, fruit

Macedonia, Greece. Sustainable, Vegan. 100% Sauvignon Blanc Typical sauvignon blanc with a strong and lively nose, suggesting gooseberry, passion fruits, melon, litchi with a note of honeysuckle. Round and mellow on the palate, quite fat balanced although, with plenty of finesse. Crispy and well structured, reminding the nose aromas with a hint of lime. A richly textured wine with superb length and balance. A classy wine with long finish and persistent aromas with intense quince aroma. Really easy drinking.

NEW! Bekaa Valley, Lebanon. This white wine blend comes from Lebanon's oldest winery, Chateau Ksara, named because it was the site of a kasr, or fortress. Located in the Bekaa Valley, wines have been made there since 1857. A modern example is this noble and versatile Ksara Blanc de Blancs, made from a blend of Sauvignon, Semillon, and Chardonnay grapes. With finesse and elegance from the Chardonnay, the nose is subtle with aromas of hazelnuts and exotic fruits from the Sauvignon. The Semillon finishes the journey with a long and rich mouth-feel. Serve as an aperitif or with foods such as delicate fresh fish or shellfish. 375 ml

Akhisar, Turkey. Vegan, Organic, Sustainable. 50% Narince & 50% Emir (both indigenous to Turkey) Dry, fresh, citrus forward, easy drinking & very approachable. Medium-bodied, low acidity, and a bit short on the palate. Sip at 8-10 degrees within 1-2 years and serve with chicken dishes and wild mushrooms.

Bethlehem, Palestine. Organic. 50% Hamdani, 50% Jandali (both indigenous to Palestine) The Cremisan monastery and winery was founded in 1885 by Fr. Antonio Belloni an Italian Salesian Monk. He opened the wine operation in an attempt to create a revenue source for the monastery’s orphanage. Cremisan is located on the northern slope of Mount El Ras just outside the city of Bethlehem and only 12k away from Jerusalem. The name Cremisan comes from the Arabic “Kerem Zan” meaning the Vineyard of Zan grapes, an indigenous Palestinian varietal. Cremisan was the first winery in the region to use indigenous Palestinian grapes, sparking both regional and international interest in Palestinian grapes. Fresh and fruity with aromas of tropical fruit and summer blossom. This dry wine has generous flavors of pineapple, mango, papaya and fresh flowers with a delicate body and lively acidity. Rich expression, filled with notes of firm tree fruit

Mount Lebanon, Lebanon. Organic, Natural, no fining or filtering. 100% Viognier Very small batch Lebanese wine made by a nomadic Lebanese winemaker, Rami Bassil El-Sabban, who borrows space from Mersel winery. Dry, no oak. Notes of peach, apricot, citrus and spring honey. Light and refreshing. Notes of white flowers and fresh peaches.

Puglia, Italy. Organic. 100% Minutolo (native grape to Puglia) Certified organic white, fresh, aromatic, and summery. Fruity with a touch of sweetness. Color is almost clear. Drinks similar to a Riesling.

Lemesos, Cyprus. Organic. 100% Xynisteri (Indigenous to Cyprus) Crisp & refreshing white with aromas of nectarine, lime, grapefruit & honey. Dry but not too dry, pairs beauitfully with seafood and light salads.

Kakheti, Georgia 100% Mtsvane Notes of green apple, peach, and spearmint. Dry, crisp and light. 11.5% ABV.

Bethlehem, Palestine. Natural, Organic. 50% Dabouki, 50% Hamdani-Jandali The Cremisan Cellar inherits its namesake from the hill from which the grapes have been harvested since 1885. Modern wine-making equipment was introduced in 1997. The production and sale of Cremisan wines support the work of the Salesian Monks in the Holy Land. All Cremisan wines are organically produced, with vines being tended without the use of pesticides and chemicals. Vines are pruned, sorted and picked by hand. AL-Jather is a NATURAL white made from Palestinian grapes. Fresh and fruity with aromas of tropical fruit. This wine has generous grapefruit, peach and lime juice flavors with a refreshing acidity that makes it perfect for sipping on warm days. No added sulfur. Great on its own or with savory pastry, pasta, medium soft cheeses, baked chicken and sushi.
