Founded by Michel de Bustros, the first vines were planted in 1951, and in 1979 - despite the Lebanese Civil War - they started producing their own wine with their own grapes in their own cellar. Using sustainable farming, they produced this Chateau Kefraya White wine using hand-harvested Chardonnay, Viognier and Muscat Blanc grapes. It was born in the 2019 yield when THALASSITIS OAK FERMENTED was renamed NYCHTERI by GAIA. Fermentation and aging take place in different kinds and sizes of barrels. Stefanago Pinot Grigio
Lombardia, Italy. Organic. Natural. Unfined & Unfiltered. Sustainable. 2023. A beautiful 100% Pinot Grigio, finely balanced and elegant. From the vineyard called “Vigna Campo Piano,” the vines are approximately 30 years old and planted to 2.6 hectares of clay soils. The grapes are selected one month before harvest, which takes place on August 25th, and allowed to macerate for eight hours in stainless steel. Hand-harvesting is done in two passes, the first is used to build the ambient yeast for the remainder that is to be harvested.
